There is always a long list of projects at some stage in the process of production, from a twinkle in the writer's or publisher's eye to those which are about to be published. Here are some of the more advanced projects on the Callum James Books list of upcoming titles.

Sonnets, Songs and Ballads
by Edwin Emmanauel Bradford

It is hoped that we will shortly be adding to the number of conventionally printed hardcover books we offer by reprinting this first book of poetry by the Edwardian clergyman E. E. Bradford. Although primarily known as one of the group dubbed the 'Uranian' poets by Timothy d'Arch Smith, Bradford also wrote on strongly religious themes as well. A friend of Betjeman and Auden, this edition of Bradford's first collection of poetry will benefit from being edited using Bradford's own copy of the book in which he noted all the many changes he would like to make along with the printing errors.

The Attack on St Winefride's Well
by Frederick Rolfe

This is one of the rarest pieces in the whole of Rolfe's bibliography with only two copies known to have survived. A brilliant display of Rolfe's polemic style as he anonymously takes on the good burghers of Holywell and tries to scotch rumours that the well in the shrine of St Winefride is about to be taken over by a company that bottles water.

Ganymede and Bacchus
by Roden Noel

Roden Noel is a little known poet today. His poetry is sensual and involved and takes some time to acclimatise to. He was bisexual and some of his poems have strong homoerotic undertones. This book is planned as something of a flagship project with a hardcover section in the edition as well as a more regular booklet format. The two long poems have been illustrated by Sue Martin and the illustrations in the special state of the edition will be printed direct from the blocks she has created onto Zerkell paper and the whole casebound in a patterned paper designed by Callum James.
